Philosophy: To encourage individual players to become skilled team members. It's not the individual that creates a team, it's the sum of all players.
Bio: I grew up in Enid, OK in a large family in which every sibling played soccer at one time or another. We were very supportive of the soccer program in Enid, nearly creating a squad of our own with 7 kids coming through the program. My parents were very involved with soccer by serving in a variety of roles including coaching, scheduling, and sponsoring our various teams. Their involvement in the soccer program helped instill in me a desire to give back to soccer in my own community as both a referee during college and a coach here in Bartlesville. I have always loved to cheer on the US national teams no matter the quality of the squad. It has been exciting to see US and Oklahoma soccer progress to the level it is today and I hope to continue to see our program in Bartlesville grow in that same direction.
Coaching License: National D license.
Coaching Career: I began coaching in Bartlesville in the Spring season of 2010 with U9 Academy. I served as assistant coach for FCB '97 for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 seasons and assistant coach for FCB '01 Navy and White teams for Fall 2011 season.
Playing Career: I played in Enid, OK from U4 through High School, making the Varsity High School squad as a freshmen. I played 4 years of High School Soccer at Enid High earning Defensive MVP Senior year. I was 1 of 3 players from Enid to join Oklahoma Baptist University's inaugural soccer squad. I played college soccer at OBU for 4 years and served as a referee for the Shawnee soccer club during that same time. I have continued to play in the Bartlesville Adult League as well as at Soccer City in Tulsa.
Education: Graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in Finance.
