U9/U10 Boys

U9/U10 Boys Academy

Trainer - Justin Marshall

For 9 to 10 year olds we will be focusing on player development. Modeled after the ideals set forth by USSF, at this stage the focus will be developing the players confidence on the ball, creativity, technical proficiency, decision making skills, and basic positional understanding.

Training will be done in a group setting twice a week and conducted by a USSF licensed trainer selected by FC Bartlesville’s Director of Coaching. During these sessions players will have the opportunity to train with the team they play with on Saturdays as well as other players of similar ability.

Training sessions will take place on Mondays and Thursdays on the North end of the West Field located at the Mid-high School. Each session will run from 5:15pm to 6:30pm. We will start on time and end on time so please plan accordingly. Players are to bring with them a size 4 soccer ball and water bottle and wear cleats and shin guards. According to WCSC regulations players without shin guards will not be allowed to participate in training that day.

Games will be held at Benbrook fields located in Robinwood Park on Saturdays. All teams will have the same uniform for games that will consist of:

(1)Adidas Squadra II Navy Jersey and (1) Adidas Squadra II White Jersey,

(1) Pair of Adidas Navy Shorts

 (1) Pair of Adidas Navy Socks, and (1) pair of Adidas White Socks.

Home teams will wear their White Jersey, Navy Shorts, and White Socks. Away teams will wear all Navy.  All players will be playing multiple positions on the field and play an equal amount during their games. This is to help make every child a more complete players, not strikers, midfielders and defenders.
